Fleet is the one part of Vessly that needs an account, because several phones have to agree on the same data. Everything else keeps working without one.

Fleet data on a server, personal data on your phone
Fleet data is synced through a server
Shared boats need a shared copy. It runs on Cloudflare; only members of the fleet can read it.
Personal boats stay on the phone
Boats outside a fleet never leave your device. No account, no upload.
Delete it when you leave
The owner can delete the whole fleet from Fleet settings; members can leave at any time.
Questions about Fleet
How do the trial and cancellation work?
Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; you keep access until the end of the period, and your data stays on your phone.
How many boats does Fleet cover, and does the crew pay?
Fleet is priced per boat, from one boat up to fifty. Crew members join with an invite code and pay nothing; only the fleet owner pays.
Do I need an account?
No. Install and start. An account is only needed for Fleet, where several people share boats and changes sync between phones.
How do I delete my data?
In the app go to Settings → Danger zone → Delete all data. After two confirmations it removes the data on your phone, your account and fleet memberships on the server and, if enabled, the Google Drive backup. Files you exported earlier are not touched, and a subscription is not cancelled by this — cancel it in the App Store or Google Play. See the privacy policy for details.
